These two longhorn cows are owned by the Flying ‘D’ Longhorn ranch near Magnolia, Texas on FM1488. It is a composite painting of two of Delores Damuth’s longhorns. Longhorn breeders can tell you the lineage of all longhorns simply by looking at the shape of the horns. This particular shape is called the Texas Twist and traces back to a foundation sire.
