Animals make friendships that most of us wouldn’t expect. I have seen this happen many times even though this is a composite and was not actual. The idea for this painting came from our family’s real life experience of the friendship between our parakeet and our pot belly pig. They were the best of buddies and played together all the time when not in their carriers.
