This painting is the result of some of experimentation with traditional subject and contemporary application. Sometimes my better work comes when I step over the next barrier of ‘fear’ and experiment with the unfamiliar. I didn’t like how the painting going and I kept wanting to cover it up with red which is not my normal reaction but I listened to my ‘little voice’ and this is the result which is one my favorite new works.
