These two characters were part of a herd I spotted in Marble Falls, Texas. It is a composite painting from several photographs I took. I watch the subjects a bit before I photograph to pick up on the personalities, then do a composite painting based on what I have observed. This little spotted donkey was visiting all the group and catching up on the latest gossip. I don’t know her name, or any of the others I painted, but the names I have given them seem to match their personalities.
